While the Andruss Motel strives to make our property enjoyable for all of our guests here is some information that you may require prior to booking if you require special accommodations. The Andruss Motel is situated on a flat surface however the driveway is gravel and much of the property is dirt. Access to our lobby, however, is flat and level with the only change in elevation due to a standard door threshold. There is a pool on the property, but there are stairs leading to the pool and no lift is available.
Our property is pet friendly for house trained animals and your service animal is no exception. You are, however, responsible for the care and supervision of your service animal during your stay.
The town of Walker is small and has restaurants and shops within walking distance to the Andruss Motel, but there are no sidewalks in the town and walking to those establishments is on a dirt and gravel shoulder.
We've designed our accessible motel room to make our guests with disabilities - as well as friends and family who accompany them - more comfortable.
This mobility accessible, non-smoking room features one queen-sized bed, and an accessible roll-in shower with grab bars located near the toilet as well as the shower. A shower stool is also available upon request. The room is designed so that all areas are accessible via wheelchair. Parking to the room is directly in front of the room and there are no stairs or ramps required to enter the room. Access to the room is via a lever style door handle.
The room features comfortable soft seating, a HDTV, and easy to operate alarm clock/radio. The free high-speed internet access will help you stay connected while on the road. A table is provided for working or dining. You'll also enjoy the convenience of having a coffeemaker, microwave, and refrigerator in the room at easy reach.
This room is reserved for individuals with disabilities and will not be booked unless all other rooms have been booked. On the off chance an individual that does not require a mobility accessible room has inadvertently reserved this room they will be relocated without an additional fee.
